Just wanted to bring you up to speed on what’s been happening in the world of Bruxx.net roleplaying. I cannot believe that a full month has gone by since I last posted… and I can only apologise for that.
Champions
Right, first off I’ve been working up a scenario to take to the Continuum 2010 show. Aiming to be played on the afternoon of Sunday 4th July (an auspicious day for some), I’ll be taking the new 6th Edition of the Hero System for a spin.
Entitled “UnCOILED Reality”, the scenario pits an all-female Super Hero team against the machinations of evil Nazi-inspired Agents of COIL. There is a copy of the Hero System Basic Rulebook for my favourite player at the table too.
Which hero would you choose? Inspired by the 5 elements of magic, I’ve got a girl-hero for Fire, Air, Earth, Water, and Spirit. Hoo-rah!
Dungeons & Dragons
Having completed Ian’s adventure, it’s my turn back in the hot-seat of GMing the Friday night KIA SpecOps group.
I’ve been beavering away on writing “The Quest of Vixoris” for the guys to enjoy. We were scheduled to play last Friday but England’s ill-fated game versus Algeria meant that too many players ended up bailing. We are aiming to start on the 16th July, and I am hoping to bring you regular session reports as they happen.
The adventure? Oh, that’s pretty cool too. I don’t want to spoil it for the players though so I’ll just say this: it’s got a very big dragon in it!
